About The Palace Museum
The Forbidden City, officially known as the Palace Museum, is a must-visit landmark in Beijing. Once the imperial palace for 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is now one of the world’s most iconic cultural treasures. Just a short distance from the Orchid, the sprawling complex offers a glimpse into China’s rich history and magnificent architecture.
